Due to performances, the temple will be closed during the afternoons and evenings on 7/24, 7/31, and 8/7.

The performances on 7/24 and 8/7 will be in Chinatown Square and will start sometime around 4:30 pm.

Notice

Our temple will be closed on July 3-5 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) to observe the Fourth of July holiday.  Classes will be resumed on Tuesday, July 6.  Have a good holiday.



We will be involved with a summer picnic in Westmont, IL on Saturday, June 26th, 2010.  For more information, please view our flier.  The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.  You can pay ahead of time at our temple.

Masters You Liang Zhu, Chao Zhang, Yuan Feng Wang, and Yang Yang Guo of the China Song Shan Shaolin Temple have been invited to come to Chicago and be part of our April 2010 festivities.  They will participate in the following events that have been scheduled :

1. On April 18, 2010, we will be conducting a Buddhist ceremony along with a Shaolin Kung Fu performance.
2. On April 20 – 23, 2010, we will have an exam for our students to advance to the next level.

Shifu Yan Ju is once again taking students to China this summer!  The trip will be from August 16th to August 30th and will cost approximately $3800.  The price includes all transportation, meals, lodging, and visa fees.  For more information, please download our flier.
